Attorney & Owner, Brown Law Offices, PA, Scottsdale, Arizona. (11/96 to Present). Ms.
Brown has successfully handled over 1000 personal injury cases, resolving over 95% of those cases without filing a lawsuit. Ms. Brown successfully litigated the remainder of her cases by filing
lawsuits in both Arizona State and Federal Courts. Additionally, Ms. Brown has conducted numerous Settlement Conferences, both as a participant and as a Settlement Judge.
Judge Pro Tem, Superior Court of Arizona in Maricopa County, Arizona. (1/2004 to 12/2005). Ms. Brown presided over
Settlement Conferences and Bench Trials in the Civil Division for the Maricopa County Superior Court. Ms. Brown received outstanding comments for settlement
conferences conducted in 2004.
Teaching & Training. Ms. Brown won the President's Award for her Continuing Legal Education Seminar for the Arizona State Bar
Convention in 2001. Ms. Brown also teaches Continuing Legal Education Seminars for the Minority Bar Convention and a Legal Writing Clinic for first year law
students at the Phoenix School of Law. Finally, Ms. Brown taught Introduction to Business Law to undergraduates at Ottawa University.
Awards & Community Service
Governor Janet Napolitano (then Attorney General) (2002). Ms. Brown received recognition for her work on the Attorney General's
Asian-American Advisory Board.
President's Award, State Bar of Arizona Annual Convention (2001). Ms. Brown received the President's Award for her Continuing
Legal Education Seminar at the State Bar of Arizona's Annual Convention (2001).
Grand Club Hall of Fame from the Muscular Dystrophy Association of Arizona (2000).
Scholarship Fundraising Awards from the Arizona Asian American Bar Association (1997-1999). Ms. Brown chaired the committees
that raised over $100,000 in donations and established the Hon. Thomas Tang Scholarship Fund, a permanent scholarship endowment.
